Firstly, the platform itself sucks ass. There is no coherent method of communication between users, since the ask feature was extremely limited. There is no customization available for the dashboard that is not from outside sources. When other people provide open source customization for tumblr (Missing E), tumblr is a total asshole about it.
Secondly, the users are 90% scum....
